Job Description:

A. Monitoring & Field Tracking

  • Support the implementation of project monitoring plans.
  • Conduct regular field monitoring visits.
  • Track project indicators and outputs.
  • Verify program activities and service delivery.
  • Support monitoring of:
    • Cash assistance
    • Training activities
    • Protection services
    • Livelihood interventions
    • Education programs

B. Data Collection & Management

  • Support development of data collection tools and formats.
  • Coordinate with field teams for timely data submission.
  • Ensure accurate entry of program data into MIS systems.
  • Support beneficiary registration tracking.
  • Maintain organized monitoring records and documentation.

C. Data Quality Assurance

  • Conduct routine data verification and spot checks.
  • Identify inconsistencies and follow up with field teams.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and reliability of data.
  • Support data cleaning and validation processes.

D. Reporting Support

  • Support preparation of:
    • Monthly monitoring reports
    • Activity tracking reports
    • Donor reporting inputs
  • Compile field-level data summaries.
  • Support indicator tracking for projects.

E. Accountability & Feedback Mechanisms

  • Support implementation of Community Feedback and Response Mechanisms (CFRM).
  • Help collect and document:
    • Complaints
    • Suggestions
    • Beneficiary feedback
  • Ensure confidential handling of sensitive complaints.
  • Support referral of safeguarding concerns.

F. Learning & Documentation

  • Document best practices and lessons learned.
  • Support case studies and success stories.
  • Assist in program review meetings and reflection sessions.

G. Compliance & Verification

  • Support beneficiary verification processes.
  • Monitor potential risks such as:
    • Aid diversion
    • Duplicate beneficiaries
    • Misreporting
  • Ensure documentation for audit readiness.

H. Coordination

  • Work closely with: Program teams, Field staff, MIS Officer, Finance and operations (for verification)

Job Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Social Sciences, Development Studies
    • Statistics, Economics, Public Administration, MEAL-related fields

Experience

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in monitoring, data collection, or program support.
  • Experience with NGOs preferred.
  • Experience in humanitarian/development programs is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Strong skills in: Excel, Data tracking tools, Monitoring formats
  • Experience using: Kobo / ODK / mobile data collection tools (preferred)
