Job Description:
Position Summary:
The medical supervisor assist the hospital director, in the management, of the day to day implementation of hospital objectives, coordinate and supervise the activities of the hospital all departments focusing on quality improvement, data consistency and accuracy, RUD, ensure that the Pharmacy warehouse and dispensary well organized as per standard considering the humidity and temperature, support, supervise and instruct the hospital medical team , regular visits, and ensure from the quality of project implementation. Support the IP supervisor and ensure the HCWM considered properly, ensure all committee is functional. Take action to solve the issues of hospital on spots in close coordination with hospital director and medical director, provide guidance on improving quality of services to hospital technical team. Ensure that the resources of the hospital are utilized properly.
Essential Responsibilities And Duties:
- Assist the Hospital medical director in all aspect of hospital quality improvement.
- Develop a comprehensive plan in coordination with Hospital technical team and management team, in order to run the projects effectively and efficiently.
- Support and supervise, monitor the hospital staff and provide on Job training and feedback to them for improving the quality of services.
- Support the IP supervisor in proper implementation of the MOPH/WHO IPC (Infection prevention control) standards and guidelines considering HCWM.
- Participate and facilitate different training sessions in close coordination with project management team as per TNA and project training plan for the staff of the HFs.
- Provide monthly and based on emergency need on time reports to Hospital director in close coordination with project Technical Managers.
- Update the hospital director about the status of the project, progress and challenges.
- Review the hospital monthly report and ensure that the report is based on fact of the hospital.
- Analyze and compare the P4P achievement with the target on monthly basis, find the gaps and ensure that the maximum target is achieved.
- Support the hospital technical team in provision of PIP and do follow up on progress.
- Follow up and monitoring of HR, Logistic and finance related objectives of the hospital.
- Providing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to technical manager.
- To ensure from the quality of care implemented at all level of Services in coordination with provincial hospital director and medical director.
- Adherence to all organizational policies and procedures as outlined in RIs’ policies and procedure manuals.
- Conduct him/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to RI and not to jeopardize its humanitarian mission.
- At the end of the project in close coordination with hospital director, Project manager, and other project team to ensure all the process of handing over of the project is completed properly and the related document is provided.
Any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements:
- Graduated from recognized Medical University.
- Minimum 5 year’s NGO/INGO experiences, in the capacity of medical Supervisor and project management.
- Demonstrates a systematic and efficient approach to work.
- Works collaboratively with team members to achieve results.
- Should be a Team player.
- Good command of English and relevant local language, both written and spoken.
- Ability to organize & priorities workload independently, using initiative when appropriate.
- Honesty.
