Job Description:
- Assist and support the planning and implementation of emergency response activities for returnee populations.
- Assist and Conduct rapid needs assessments to identify urgent needs of returnee families, especially children.
- Ensure timely access to basic services, awareness and including education through Temporary Learning Spaces (TLS).
- Facilitation in support in coordinate with local authorities, partners, and community leaders to support returnee integration.
- Monitor field activities regularly and ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Maintain proper data collection, documentation, and reporting on returnee support activities.
- Support distribution of emergency supplies ( learning IEC materials) and track their usage.
- Facilitate community engagement and awareness sessions on education, child protection, and available services.
- Identify challenges in the field and provide practical solutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure protection, safeguarding, and inclusion of vulnerable groups, especially women and children.
- Promote accountability mechanisms (GRM) and ensure communities are aware of feedback channels.
- Work closely with field teams to ensure effective coordination and communication.
- Support the establishment and smooth operation of TLS in targeted areas.
- Ensure activities are implemented according to project plans, timelines, and standards.
- Coordinate with local authorities, partners, and community leaders.
- Work closely with education teams, DCMs, and SMS members.
- Facilitate communication between field teams and management.
- Coordinate with community leaders to ensure maximum participation.
- Use simple, clear, and culturally appropriate messaging.
- Keep records of sessions conducted and participants reached.
- Promote child protection and safeguarding standards in all activities.
- Ensure community awareness of feedback and complaint mechanisms (GRM).
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator and/or Senior Management Team (SMT).
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Education, Social Science, or any other related field
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in similar positions in emergency with national and international NGOs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex activities involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in working with government at national and sub-national levels, UN organizations, or any international development or aid agencies.
- Experience in the relevant or similar position in humanitarian projects is required.
- Knowledge of up-to-date trends and best practices in emergency support services.
Skills:

Language skills:
- Advanced Proficiency in English, Dari and Pashto (written and spoken)
