Job Description:

  • Deliver structured computer training sessions, including ICDL and basic web designing courses.
  • Prepare and implement lesson plans based on initial student assessments and learning needs.
  • Train youth (boys and girls) on essential computer skills, including both software applications and basic hardware knowledge.
  • Assess and evaluate students’ learning progress on a regular basis and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to students and school staff on the use of computer systems and software.
  • Ensure all computer hardware is functional through regular checks and basic troubleshooting.
  • Install and configure software and applications according to program requirements.
  • Support the organization and scheduling of system upgrades and maintenance activities without disrupting training sessions.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
  • Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the project. 

Job Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge and skills in computer instruction, demonstrated through teaching experience and/or practical assessment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with teaching ICDL curriculum, MS Office applications, and basic web design.
  • Ability to teach both theoretical and practical aspects of computer use.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with youth; experience with vulnerable groups is an asset.
  • Relevant certifications in computer training or IT
  • Good ethical conduct, professionalism, and positive attitude.
