Job Description:

  • Receive and inspect incoming stock shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Document any damages or discrepancies.
  • Organize and store all inventory appropriately based on product characteristics, turnover, weight and type. Follow first-in-first-out (FIFO) and first-expired-first-out (FEFO) stock rotation.
  • Maintain inventory counts and ensure adequate stock levels are available. Re-order stock as needed.
  • Accurately pick, pack and ship outgoing orders. Update stock records after each transaction.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and monthly full physical inventory audits. Reconcile counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain detailed bin locations and shelf labels for all inventory.
  • Generate inventory reports detailing stock levels, values, turnover, and transaction history.
  • Ensure the warehouse adheres to health and safety policies. Report any unsafe conditions.
  • Inspect incoming shipments against orders and docs. Log discrepancies and report issues.
  • Organize inventory by product type, turnover, size. Follow FIFO and FEFO methods. Maintain locator system.
  • Monitor stock levels using software. Generate reports. Anticipate reorders, prevent outages.
  • Accurately fulfill and pack orders. Update inventory records after each transaction.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts on high volume items. Conduct monthly full audits, reconcile to books.
  • Create and maintain bin locations, shelf labels and visual indicators.
  • Generate inventory reports on usage, turns and other metrics. Analyze data to optimize stock.
  • Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness and safety. Inspect equipment. Report hazards.
  • Assist with annual inventory, projects and other duties as required.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator and/or Senior Management Team (SMT).

  • Graduation certified document of school degree and Graduation bachelor`s degree is preferable.
  • At least 3 years of working experience
  • Full familiarity with the challenges and opportunities ahead of the program and study the CBE Afghanistan Standard.
  • Master degree with 1 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor degree with 2 years of relevant experience;

Skills:

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience in community engagement and awareness-raising.
  • Ability to travel frequently to field locations.
  • ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams
  • ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and project beneficiaries.
  • ability to analyze data, identify trends and make informed decisions
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • proficiency in project management tools and software and professional report writing.
  • Ability to work with communities and affect populations in returnees.
  • Sound organizational skills and ability to prioritize and deliver assignments in a timely manner often under severe time pressures
  • Good knowledge and experience in emergency cases and controlling off crowd in project site.
