• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors on corporate finance, long-term business planning, and commercial strategy.
• Lead the development of strategic business plan, annual operating plans, capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets for network rollouts, and multi-year financial forecasts.
• Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action within the telecom sector.

Accounting, Tax & Compliance

• Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Oversee preparation of interim financial statements and analysis and management reports of financial statements on monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly basis for distribution to the Board of Trustees and senior management.
• Finalizes statutory reports of accounts on quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly in accordance with Accounting Standards, Companies Ordinance and CFO / Stock Exchanges' listing requirements.
• Prepares working papers covering complete analysis of cost and revenue vis-à-vis variations with budget and other financial performance to get the accounts approved from Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
• Dealing with head office in international investment division for KPI reports, Accounts department for financial statement submission and related party transaction and with Finance department to get assistance for fund raising.
• Direct the formulation of the company’s tax strategy, ensuring full compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations while optimizing the corporate tax position.
• Manage internal and external audit processes, implementing robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Supply Chain & Procurement Management

• Direct the end-to-end supply chain strategy, including strategic sourcing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management for a nationwide GSM network.
• Lead high-level negotiations with major telecom equipment vendors, handset manufacturers, and infrastructure providers to secure favorable pricing and SLAs.
• Optimize inventory turnover and logistics networks to ensure timely deployment of network equipment and consumer goods to retail channels.

Treasury & Capital Management

• Manage the company's capital structure, securing funding in coordination with head office for large-scale telecom infrastructure projects.
• Oversee daily cash flow and liquidity management, foreign exchange (FX) risk mitigation, and banking relationships.

Revenue Assurance & Risk Management

• Lead the Revenue Assurance function to identify and minimize revenue leakage across the billing cycle, network operations, and interconnect agreements.
• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management policies to protect the business from financial, operational, and supply chain disruptions.

Education & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field with 20 years of relevant experience.
• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or CMA are highly preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years in a C-level or VP-level finance role within the telecommunications industry.
• Demonstrated track record of overseeing complex, large-scale supply chain and procurement operations.

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of GSM business models, CapEx planning for network infrastructure, telecom billing systems, and enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Leadership:

• Proven ability to lead and develop large, cross-functional teams spanning finance, accounting, and supply chain disciplines.
