About Health Efficient, Accessible, and Long-lasting Treatment at Homeland Organization (HEALTHO):

Health Efficient, Accessible, Long-Lasting and Treatment at Homeland Organization (HEALTHO) is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political Afghan national organization established and registered with the Ministry of Economy in 2012.

The purpose of HEALTHO is to contribute to the development of Afghan society through providing health and education services, arranging capacity building programs and imparting vocational skills training, ensure food security and emergency relief assistance in times of natural or man-made calamities.

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain an efficient HR strategy that aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives
  • Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
  • Update employee policies, procedures, and management guidelines
  • Orientating new employees and training existing employees.
  • Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
  • Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
  • Monitoring employee performance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personnel records
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Provide general administrative support to senior management
  • Responsible for the office notice boards, positing of information, clearing old information, proper arrangement.
  • Ensure that all administrative daily usage forms are readily available for staff use in the main office compound.
  • Keeping track of the staff timesheets for HEALTHO Program through a clean and systematic way, in which filing transparency should exist.
  • Assisting in maintaining personnel files. Ensure all relevant documents are filed  for all HEALTHO staff.
  • Assisting in maintaining files for all terminated staff. Ensure that files for all terminated staff from all sites are forwarded to HEALTHO HQ.
  • Any other relevant tasks given by line manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, BBA,, Public Administration, or any other related field – Masters is an advantage.
  • At least six years of experience in HR, preferably with INGO
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English, Dari and Pashto languages.
