About ACDO:

Asia Community Development Organization (ACDO) is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2014 and registered with the Government of Afghanistan under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy (MoEc) with a mission to provide humanitarian and development assistance to the vulnerable, at-risk, and underserved people throughout the country.

Job Description:

Program Implementation & Supervision

  • Supervise and support field staff (teachers, facilitators, mobilizers, monitors) in assigned districts.
  • Ensure timely and quality implementation of project activities according to work plans.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and provide on-site guidance.
  • Ensure adherence to project guidelines, standards, and donor requirements.

2. Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track project progress against targets and indicators.
  • Review and verify field reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly district-level reports.
  • Identify challenges, gaps, and propose solutions.

3. Coordination & Liaison

  • Coordinate with local authorities, community leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Support community engagement and participation in project activities.
  • Represent the organization at district-level meetings and coordination forums.

4. Quality Assurance

  • Ensure quality of service delivery (education, food distribution, protection, etc.).
  • Monitor attendance, performance, and accountability of field staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, protection, and accountability standards.

5. Logistics & Operations Support

  • Support distribution processes (e.g., school feeding commodities, materials).
  • Monitor stock usage and report discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of supplies.

6. Capacity Building

  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to field staff.
  • Support implementation of training sessions and refresher workshops.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in field supervision or project implementation.
  • Experience in education, school feeding, or humanitarian programs is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good report writing and data verification skills.
  • Ability to work in remote and challenging environments.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in local languages (Pashto/Dari) and basic English skills.
