Position Summery 

The Cook will be responsible for preparing nutritious and hygienic meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
The role requires efficiency, cleanliness, and the ability to work under pressure to meet meal schedules.

Reports to: Admin/HR Department

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and dietary requirements.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and proper storage of ingredients.
• Ensure cleanliness of office, including kitchen, dining area, and other office spaces.
• Plan and manage food inventory and supplies.
• Minimize food waste and ensure cost-effective meal preparation.
• Follow health and safety regulations in food handling and kitchen operations.
• Assist in meal planning and menu preparation as needed.
• Handle kitchen equipment and utensils with care.
• Report any kitchen-related issues to the Admin department.

د سرپرست له خوا سپارل شوې نورې اړوند دندې ترسره کول

• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in an NGO or institutional setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to prepare a variety of meals, including local and international cuisines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Physical ability to handle kitchen duties efficiently
