Job Description:
The Parooni Language Education Content Developer will be responsible for creating, developing, and adapting educational materials in the Parooni language, with a specific focus on preschool and early-grade learning resources. The role involves producing culturally appropriate and age-appropriate content, including books, learning guides, and instructional materials to support mother-tongue-based education for children.
The position will work closely with the Language Supervisor and project team to ensure that all materials are linguistically accurate, educationally sound, and aligned with the learning needs of the target community.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a native Parooni speaker.
- Develop and write educational and language materials in Parooni
- Ability to work under deadlines and deliver quality content on time
- Strong understanding of local culture and language context
- Good editing and proofreading skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, typing in local language fonts)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
