AWRO is seeking Full-time Project Assistants to further strengthen the implementation of its project in Jawzjan province. The project assistant will be responsible to provide operational and field-level support to the project manager and project teams to ensure smooth implementation.
TOR:
The Project Assistant will undertake the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Implement the planned project activities as per the work plan and guidance from the Project Manager.
- Prepare and organize data and information required for project progress reports.
- Provide day-to-day operational and logistical assistance to the Project Manager.
- Establish and maintain effective coordination with project right-holders and stakeholders.
- Collect and compile data from field staff to support monitoring and reporting.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in the project database.
- Organize and coordinate meetings with key project personnel and stakeholders.
- Provide support to project and MHNT (Mobile Health and Nutrition Team) teams as needed.
- Assist in preparing beneficiary lists and distribution records in collaboration with the field team.
- Build and sustain relationships with local communities and local authorities to facilitate smooth implementation.
- Represent AWRO and the project in district and provincial-level coordination meetings.

- Diploma degree in Social Sciences, public health, nutrition, nursing, Law, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or high school diploma with additional two years of experience
- At least 2 years of experience working in humanitarian or emergency response projects
- Good knowledge of humanitarian principles, national health guidelines
- Familiarity with maternal and child health and nutrition
- Familiarity with Jawzjan province is preferred
- Good knowledge of Excel and mobile data collection tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, organization and operational skills
