Afghan Welfare Volunteers Aid Organization (AWVAO) is a local, non-governmental, non-political, non-profitable, and independent national NGO, registered with the Ministry of Economy with the registration number 6070; and granted with the permission to operate in Afghanistan.

AWVAO is dedicated specially to fostering educational excellence in Afghanistan and is equipped with an excellent and very well experienced team to manage educational programming in Afghanistan. That is the reason why AWVAO successfully applied and received the contract as implementing partner for the educational programming of the German based NGO Afghanischer Frauenverein e.V. (AFV) in order to provide long term support to a total of five schools across Afghanistan including Safaa school in Kabul province.

مؤسسه رضاکاران برای رفاه و کمک افغان ها یک نهاد غیر امارتی، غیر انتفاعی و غیر سیاسی است، که بر اساس کمیسیون عالی ارزیابی مؤسسات غیر دولتی به شماره مسلسل۶۰۷۰  ثبت و راجستر وزارت محترم اقتصاد گردیده و اجازه فعالیت را در مرکز و ولایات کشور برای این مؤسسه منظور نموده است ، هدف موسسه رضاکاران برای رفاه و کمک افغان ها اجرای برنامه های مساعدت های پایدار عمدتا در مناطق روستایی افغانستان با تمرکز بر حمایت کودکان و خانواده های انها که مواجه با فقر شدید اقتصادی اند، میباشد. برای دستیابی به این اهداف مردم محور، موسسه رضاکاران برای رفاه و کمک افغان ها در درجه اول به پنج ساحه کاری اصلی یعنی معارف، ارایه خدمات اولیه صحی، اب اشامیدنی، کمک های اضطراری و امداد رسانی پس از افات طبیعی تمرکز دارد. موسسه مصصم است که فعالیت های چشمگیر را در بخش های مختلف بلخصوص در رشد و انکشاف معارف کشور از طریق حمایت و مدیریت مکاتب، ایجاد کورسهای آموزشی تقویتی، فراهم اوری تجهیزات، ایجاد محیط مصون آموزشی در مکاتب دولتی مانند مکاتب خزانی، بویه زار، صفا و بازاری در ولایت های کابل، کندز و غزنی میباشد.

نرس/مشاور صحی مکتب یک شخص مجرب و آموزش ‌دیده خواهد بود که مسئول ایجاد و اداره شعبه کمک‌های اولیه/صحی در مکتب صفاء باشد. وی خدمات رایگان کمک‌های اولیه، ارزیابی سوء تغذیه، تشخیص زودهنگام امراض جلدی، علائم سل و سایر مشکلات صحی را برای ۲۴۰۰ شاگرد ارائه خواهد کرد. نرس/مشاور صحی آموزش‌های صحی را به زبان ساده و دوستانه به شاگردان ارائه میدهد، به‌عنوان مربی (تی او تی) عمل کرده و آموزش‌های منظم به شاگردان و معلمین ارائه میدهد، جلسات توضیحی منظم با والدین در مورد مسائل و مشکلات صحی شایع برگزار میکند و در صورت ضرورت به تداوی شاگردان را به مراکز صحی نزدیک رجعت میدهد. نرس/مشاور صحی مکتب تمام سوابق و ریکارد مشکلات صحی را در مکتب نگهداری کرده و در مورد راه اندازی تعلیمات صحی و حفظ الصحه به‌خصوص برای دختران صنوف ۵ و۶، ابتکار نشان میدهد. حمایت میکند. این پست مستقیماً به بهبود نتایج صحی شاگردان و حضور منظم آن‌ها در مکتب کمک میکند.

The School Nurse will be a full-time, trained professional responsible for establishing and running a First Aid/Health Room at Safaa School. She will provide free first aid, nutrition assessment, early detection of skin diseases (scabies, tinea), TB symptoms, and other health issues for 2,400 students. The nurse will deliver child-friendly hygiene education, act as Training of Trainers (ToT) by providing structured and customized trainings to students and teachers on relevant health topics, organize regular briefing sessions with parents on prevalent local health issues, coordinate referrals with health facilities nearby. The school nurse will maintain records of all health problems and treatments in the school, will trainings and support the general hygiene management at school through creating health activities especially for girls of grade 5 and 6. The position directly contributes to improving overall student health outcomes and school attendance. Under the guidance of the AFV’s Health Team and close coordination with Safaa school management, School Nurse / Health Counselor undertakes the following duties (not inclusive):

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver first aid to student in need and basic counseling according to a fixed timetable.
• Conduct regular classroom health screenings including malnutrition and skin infection screening for early detection of scabies, tinea, trauma, and other health challenges to provide immediate first aid or referral (all complex cases will be referred through the established system to higher level clinics).
• Measure and document nutritional status (weight, height, MUAC) and maintain individual student health records.
• Identify suspected cases of skin diseases, TB, malnutrition, other infectious and parasitic diseases, or leprosy and follow established referral pathways developed by AWVA and AFV Health Team.
• Lead child-friendly hygiene and awareness sessions for students, parents, and teachers, with particular focus on handwashing, nail care, menstrual hygiene (for girls), prevention of scabies/tinea/helminths, and nutrition; teeth brushing;
• Support the student hygiene by distribution of soap and hygiene information materials.
• Act as Training of Trainers (ToT) by delivering structured and customized trainings to students and teachers on key health topics (hygiene, skin disease prevention, nutrition, first aid, infection control, teeth brushing, deworming, and menstrual hygiene).
• Organize and facilitate monthly briefing sessions with parents on common health issues in the area (scabies, tinea, malnutrition, soil-transmitted helminths, TB symptoms, trauma, and prevention strategies).
• Establish and lead a school health committee (especially for girls in grades 5–6) to address menstrual hygiene and peer support.
• Ensure infection prevention and control within the school environment.
• Coordinate closely with school management, AFV Health Team, parents, and nearby specialized clinics for referrals and follow-up.
• Participate in regular trainings and refresher courses on first aid, detection of malnutrition, TB, scabies, tinea, trauma, infection prevention, and malaria.
• Develop and implement a referral plan with support of the AFV Health Team; conduct follow-up on referred cases at school level.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare monthly reports, and share findings, lessons learned, and success stories with AWVAO and its donor.
• Perform any other duties related to student health as assigned by school management and AWVAO/AFV.

وظایف و مسئولیت‌های کلیدی

ارائه کمک‌های اولیه صحی به شاگردان نیازمند و مشاوره ابتدایی طبق جدول زمانی ترتیب شده -

انجام ارزیابی منظم صحی بشمول ارزیابی سوءتغذیه و امراض جلدی برای تشخیص زودهنگام و سایر چالش‌های صحی و ارائه کمک اولیه فوری یا ارجعت دهی (تمام موارد پیچیده از طریق سیستم تعیین‌شده به کلینیک‌های بالاتر ارجاع داده می‌شوند).

اندازه‌گیری و ثبت وضعیت تغذی مانند تعیین وزن، قد (MUAC)  و نگهداری سوابق صحی شاگردان -

شناسایی موارد مشکوک به امراض جلدی، سل، سوءتغذیه، سایر امراض  عفونی و انتانی و پیگیری مسیرهای تعیین‌شده رجعت دهی -

رهبری جلسات آموزشی با اطفال در مورد بهداشت و آگاهی برای شاگردان، والدین و معلمین با تمرکز خاص بر شستن دست‌ها، مراقبت از ناخن، بهداشت قاعدگی (برای دختران)، پیشگیری از خارش جلدی‌/کرم‌ها، تغذی، و برس کردن دندانها.

حمایت از بهداشت شاگردان از طریق توزیع صابون و مواد اطلاع‌رسانی صحی -

به‌عنوان مربی  (تی او تی) ارائه آموزش‌های منظم به شاگردان و معلمین در مورد موضوعات کلیدی صحی (بهداشت، پیشگیری از امراض جلدی، تغذیه، کمک‌های اولیه، کنترل انتانات، برس کردن دندانها، دفع کرم و بهداشت قاعدگی).

تسهیل جلسات ماهانه با والدین در مورد مسائل صحی شایع در منطقه (مانند مشکلات جلدی، سوءتغذیه، کرم‌های روده‌، علائم سل، تروما و چگونگی پیشگیری از آنها).

ایجاد و رهبری کمیته صحی مکتب (به‌خصوص برای دختران صنوف ۵ و ۶) برای رسیدگی به بهداشت قاعدگی -

اطمینان از پیشگیری و کنترل عفونت در محیط مکتب -

هماهنگی نزدیک با مدیریت مکتب، تیم صحی  ای ایف وی، والدین و کلینیک‌های تخصصی نزدیک برای ارجاع و پیگیری -

شرکت در آموزش‌های منظم و دوره‌های بازآموزی در مورد کمک‌های اولیه، تشخیص سوءتغذیه، سل، امراض جلدی، تروما، پیشگیری از انتانات.

توسعه و اجرای پلان رجاعت دهی با حمایت تیم صحی  ای ایف وی؛ پیگیری موارد ارجاع‌شده در سطح مکتب -

نگهداری دقیق سوابق، تهیه گزارش‌های ماهانه و به اشتراک گذاشتن یافته‌ها، درس‌های آموخته‌شده و موفقیت های بدست آمده با ای دبلیو وی ای او و تمویل کننده مالی آن.

انجام سایر وظایف مرتبط با صحت شاگردان که توسط مدیریت مکتب و AWVAO/AFV تعیین شود -

Education

• Successfully graduated from recognized nursing higher institute/faculty (bachelor’s degree in nursing highly preferred).
• Valid nursing license/registration with passed exit exam.
• Additional training in school health, child nutrition, infection prevention, or first aid is an advantage.
• Specialized trainings in nutrition, TB, Leprosy, and skin diseases detection is highly preferred and a strong plus point.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in basic or secondary health facility as a nurse.
• Experience in basic health clinics, nutrition screening, or infectious disease detection (scabies, TB, parasitic infections) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience working in areas including first aid, trauma management, infection prevention, health education, health counseling, and patients’ referral.

تحصیلات و تجربه کاری:

فارغ‌التحصیل از موسسه معتبر تحصیلات عالی/نرسنگ (به لیسانس نرسنگ ترجیح داده می‌شود) -

جواز معتبر نرسنگ با گذراندن امتحان اگزیت -

به آموزش/ترنینگ در بخش های صحت و معارف، تغذی، جلوگیری از عفونت یا کمک‌های اولیه ارجحیت داده محسوب می‌شود -

به آموزش/ترنینگ تخصصی در تغذیه، سل، جذام و تشخیص امراض جلدی ترجیح داده شده می‌شود -

حداقل ۵ سال تجربه کلینکی در مراکز صحی ابتدایی یا ثانویه به‌عنوان نرس - 

تجربه در کلینیک‌های صحی ابتدایی، ارزیابی تغذی یا تشخیص امراض عفونی (امراض جادی، سل، عفونت‌های انتانی) مطلوب است -

تجربه اثبات‌شده در زمینه کمک‌های اولیه، مدیریت تروما، پیشگیری از عفونت، آموزش صحی، مشاوره صحی و رجعت دهی مریضان -

Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of child health, hygiene, nutrition assessment, first aid, and infection control.
• Ability to conduct screenings, maintain records, and prepare clear reports.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills, especially with children, parents, and teachers; sensitivity to gender and cultural contexts.
• Proficiency in Pashto and Dari (spoken and written); basic English is an advantage.
• Computer skills for basic record-keeping and reporting.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate with multiple stakeholders (school, parents, clinics), and travel within Kabul Province if needed for training/referrals.
• Commitment to child protection, confidentiality, and humanitarian principles.
• Willingness to participate in regular trainings and capacity-building.
