Job Description:

Purpose of the Position:

The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, enhancing brand visibility, and increasing student enrollment and revenue for Moraa Educational Complex.

Job Requirements:

3.1 Strategic Planning & Growth

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with institutional goals
  • Identify new market opportunities, academic programs, and expansion areas
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis

3.2 Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, organizations, NGOs, and private sector partners
  • Establish collaborations for student recruitment, internships, and sponsorships
  • Represent the institution in meetings, events, and networking opportunities

3.3 Marketing & Student Recruitment

  • Design and execute campaigns to increase student enrollment
  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote programs through digital platforms and events
  • Analyze recruitment data and optimize strategies

3.4 Revenue Generation

  • Identify and develop new revenue streams (short courses, training programs, certifications)
  • Support fundraising, sponsorship acquisition, and grant proposals
  • Monitor financial performance of development initiatives

3.5 Brand Development

  • Strengthen institutional branding and public image
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all platforms
  • Promote success stories and achievements

3.6 Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track performance metrics and prepare regular reports
  • Provide recommendations based on data insights
  • Report progress to the Business Development Director and relevant stakeholders
