Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations, including bookkeeping and financial reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle all taxation matters, including filing tax returns and ensuring compliance with the Ministry of Finance
• Maintain proper records of invoices, payments, and expenditures
• Monitor cash flow and company budgets
• Prepare payroll and ensure timely salary payments
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities
• Ensure compliance with donor financial policies and procedures
• Support procurement and contract financial reviews
• Maintain financial documentation for audits and inspections

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration related field but preference will be given to exprience in (Taxation)
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of Afghanistan tax laws and financial regulations
• Experience working with NGOs/INGOs or in Government Taxation is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and reporting skills

Fluency in Dari/Pashto and English
