Invitation to Bid Consultancy Services  Baseline Survey of the Fostering Resilience through Multisector Emergency Support (FRAMES) Project in Afghanistan in the provinces of Ghor, Faryab, Badghis, Bamyan, Uruzgan, Kandahar and Daykundi for World Vision International –Afghanistan – Herat Office

World Vision International- Afghanistan has been serving the Afghan community since January 2002. With its National Office located in Herat city, World Vision supports highly vulnerable children and their families in remote, poor and under developed provinces in western Afghanistan (Ghor, Badghis , Faryab and Herat provinces). World Vision aspires to create a better future for Afghan children and their communities within the areas targeted by its child-focused and community driven development programs.

We are requesting the qualified Firms to participate in the Bidding Process by referring to the www.acbar.org website (RFP section) to download the RFP package title -WVI-A-0028 and submit the complete documents on or before the mentioned deadline.

The proposal must be delivered in sealed envelopes to the address below by no later than Tuesday 28th September 2021 (04:00 PM Afghanistan local time)

The bids should be submitted in sealed envelopes should include the Financial and technical proposals or through WVA official electronic tender box @  afgo_procurement@wvi.org 

 Please note that Bids are disregarded if:

  • A bid has been submitted after the Submission Closing date and time
  • The bid does not fulfil the criteria specified in the Invitation To Bid Documents or is found incomplete on content/details
  • The statement by the applicant that he is associated with other companies does not clearly show that the former or the latter will not apply to participate in the same project as manufacturers, suppliers or firms.

World Vision Afghanistan, Catholic Relief Services, and Medair have been awarded a grant agreement from the Bureau of Humanitarian Affairs; which will be implemented for 14 months starting from July 1st, 2021.

The FRAMES project has been designed in form of a consortium where 3 partners including; World Vision Afghanistan (as the lead partner), Catholic Relief Services and Medair integrate their efforts and will work together and in their respective areas of operation in order to respond to the multiple and ongoing recent shocks and disasters which has affected communities and Afghan population. This includes ongoing conflict, COVID-19 outbreak, reduced household finances, elevated food prices, drought and floods and to address gaps in access to safe water and basic sanitation facilities, essential health and nutrition services

The project is in alignment with the priorities identified by international and national humanitarian initiatives such as Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) for Afghanistan, FEWSNET (Famine Early Warning System Network), and HNO (Humanitarian Need Overview).
