Supporting Transformation for Afghanistan’s Recovery (STAR) is a sustainable program that aims to ensure that water and sanitation needs for targeted communities living in targeted districts are met and adopted improved hygiene practices, WASH facilities maintenance (established communal well, water supply networks etc.). The program has interventions planned in WASH (Water supply, sanitation, and hygiene promotion).

The construction of new wells fitted with hand pumps is one of the planned activities of STAR Program in the targeted communities.

Objective:

 

Mercy Corps is soliciting the process under "Intermediate work Contracts." by the terms of the contract and the subsequent Establish of 110 new communal wells fitted with handpumps upon agreed by both parties.

Therefore, Mercy Corps Afghanistan is planning to Establish of 110 new communal wells fitted with handpumps    in the STAR program, Herat Province, Afghanistan, detailed description can be found in tender package.

 

Tender Package Distribution/ Collection Guidelines:

 

The interested companies/suppliers are encouraged either to obtain/collect the Tender Package from Mercy Corps Afghanistan. Herat Office at House # 149, Jada-e-Aref Khan Barekazai, District # 6 Herat, Afghanistan or they can request to obtain electronic (softcopies) through the following email address:

Distribution/ Collection Timeline:  From: Jun 29, 2022 through July 7th, 2022

Submission Guidelines for Tender Package:

Subsequently, it is kindly requested, from the companies/suppliers to fill the tender packages where it is required accordingly. The tender package should be stamped, signed and sealed in an envelope and submit it to Mercy Corps Afghanistan Herat Office at House # 149, Jada-e-Aref Khan Barekazai, District # 6 Herat, Afghanistan on 07th July 2022. No later than 3:30pm or the companies can make electronic submission of tender package to the e-mail address mentioned in Tender Package Request for Bid (Invitation to Tender).
