DRC is looking for a service provider who can provide Activityinfor services which is as below
ctivity Info is a secure, flexible, user friendly information management system/ platform that has been tailored for humanitarian data management needs including protection case management. It is used in a wide variety of humanitarian settings (including by DRC in other countries)for data collection, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. The platform has been developed to facilitate tracking progress. This model proposed by ActivityInfo is useful for protection case management due to some specific features within its design. For example, it allows to assign roles and permissions within the protection team so that multiple users can work with a same group of clients while at the same time maintaining data security and confidentiality. For field case workers in the field, offiline data collection can be done using a mobile device.
DRC protection unit is expanding its protection programme to set up a case management system while at the same time having other data management needs for its other activities (including its PSS programme, legal counselling, referrals, IPA etc). Accordingly an IM system is needed to track progress of activities, multiple follow ups on cases and referrals.
