Request For UniHER Academic Support Fund

The Afghan Bureau Collaboration Office (ABCO) is a nationally recognized non-governmental organizaiton registered with the Ministry of Economy, Government of Afghanistan, since its stablishment in 1993, Devoted to humanitarian efforts, ABCO focuses on Capacity building and fostering livelihood among Afghan communities profoundly affected by internal conflicts and divers national circumstances.

ABCO recognizes the critical need for increased access to education, particularly in the medical domain, for aspiring female students. in acknowledgment of the challenges faced by female students with access for education, ABCO under UniHER academic Support Fund invites applications from qualified female candidates interested in pursuing a bachelor's degree in the medical fields through distance/online studies.

ABCO in collaboration with European Society of Medicine under UniHER Academic Support Fund Projects intends to fund distance/online bachelor studies of qualified medical students. The fund will encmpass the following online bachelor degree programs:

  • Bachelor in Medical and Health Services Management
  • Bachelor of Medical Science 
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Biotechnology Bachelor's Degree
  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons)
  • Bachelor in Public Health (with Specializations in health, promotion, epidemiology, and community health)

to complete the application process for the UniHER Academic Support Fund, Applicants are requires to provide the following information in the attache application form.

  • Applicant information 
  • education bachground and academic achievements
  • language proficiency ( if applicable not mandatory)
  • UniHER study plan
  • Employment Experience (if applicable not mandatory)
  • other personal consideration and extracurricular activities 
  • Narrative 1: study objective and future plan
  • Narrative 2: Personal Statement
