Community Action for Healing Poverty Organization (CAHPO) is an independent, non-governmental, non-political and non- for profit, charity organization, founded on the initiative of a group of Afghans in 2013 as an NGO in order to contribute towards rehabilitation and reconstruction process of Afghanistan, even though initially it has been established as CSO in rural areas in 2012. Since its establishment, CAHPO has been evolved from providing short-term emergency relief services to Emergency preparedness, Disaster Risk Reduction and long-term development efforts. CAHPO main focus areas are addressing root causes of poverty, improving livelihoods, through a comprehensive approach that encompass community involvement, communities empowerment and the sustainability of our projects.
