The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is an intergovernmental humanitarian organization established in 1951 and is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits both migrants and society.
The Office of IOM in Kabul, Afghanistan invites eligible and qualified companies with relevant licenses and experiences to present their best offer for:
For Construction of Brick Masonry FHH (Main Building, Incinerator and One Placenta Pit, Men Waiting Area, and Boundary Wall) In Chinar-Kashmond Village, Qarghayi District of Laghman Province -(FHH-Lgn-04)
Eligibility for obtaining a complete RFQ package is that interested bidders must provide the following documents:
- The company update business license issued by ministry of Commerce and AISA
- Provision of documents for similar working experience with UN Agencies or other International Organizations in the last 5 years, in the field of building construction works.
- Financial Turnover for last 5 years (2020 to 2024).
The above required documents should be sent as of today Monday 1st July 2024 and latest by Thursday 11th July 2024, at or before 10:00AM through below E-mail address: iomkabulprocurement@iom.int Only Eligible Companies will receive the complete bidding documents via IOM official E-mail.
The schedules and location of pre-bid meeting will be coordinated for those companies that have been found eligible.
After the pre-meeting the site visit will be conducted and details to be shared with those companies interested in doing the mandatory site visit for this project.
Bids shall be valid for a period of (120) days after submission of bids and shall be submitted as hard copy in sealed envelopes to the IOM following address:
Hawa Shenasi Road, Beside of Kabul International Airport, Baron Compound, Kabul Afghanistan on or before 17 July 2024, at 02:30PM. Late submission of bids will not be accepted.
IOM reserves the right to accept or reject any bids, and to cancel the procurement process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of Contract, without obligation to inform the affected Bidder/s of the ground for IOM action.
A bid security of (2%) is required of the total bid amount and must be included with the technical and financial proposal. If a bid security is not found in the bid documents, the offer will be rejected.
The bid security must be valid for a minimum of 4 months, after the closing final date of this RFQ.
The bid security shall be rejected of the following conditions:
- If the bid security to be less than 2% of the bid amount.
- If the bid security is not properly signed and stamped in the original template of the Bank.
- If the bid security is not original.
- If the bid security is not valid for minimum of 4 months after bid validity period
No Fees: IOM does not charge a fee at any stage of its tendering process or other fee and IOM does not request any information related to bank account and fee as cash.
