- About Us
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) manages and runs cricketing affairs in Afghanistan and is a Full Member cricket board of International Cricket Council (ICC). We play our domestic matches in Afghanistan while our international matches are played in UAE and/or India.
- Background: The Shpageeza Cricket League is Afghanistan's premier T20 cricket tournament, established by the Afghanistan Cricket Board in 2013. It has grown significantly in stature and popularity, becoming a crucial platform for showcasing local talent and fostering the development of cricket in the country. The league has attracted international attention, featuring both Afghan and foreign players, and has played a vital role in promoting peace and unity through sports. Its success has been instrumental in elevating the profile of Afghan cricket on the global stage and providing a pathway for young cricketers to pursue professional careers.
- About Event
Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) is conducting the 9th edition of Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL) from 12 August, 2024. This mega Cricket league will be played amongst Five teams; where Players from Afghanistan National Cricket Team, National A Team, U-19 National Team as well as top performing players from the respective region will play for these teams.
Distinguished members of the National side will be participating in this event, showcasing their exceptional talent and representing the pride of our nation on the cricket field. Moreover, the ultimate goal of the event consisting of 21 T20s cricket matches is building a platform for these esteemed players to interact with their fans, both on the ground and through live television broadcasts, thereby fostering a sense of unity and excitement throughout the country.
A professional team consisting of technical and event management professionals has been assigned to organize the tournament.
Shpageeza Cricket league 2024 is an excellent opportunity for businesses (sponsors) to reach millions of potential customers who will be following the matches and their ideal Players.

- Request for Proposal (RFP):
Afghanistan Cricket Board is seeking for the proposal from the suitably qualified Service Providers for the provision and management of gate ticketing and onsite canteen Rights which provides meals and refreshments for visitors & crowds on the match days during the Shpageeza Cricket league 2024 event.
The Bidder shall use the licensed premises only for the purpose of operating the ticket sales and canteen rights subject to the terms and conditions.
- Scope of Rights:
5.1 Gate Ticketing Rights: The Successful bidder shall be responsible to
- Manage ticket sales and distribution for the event.
- Implement ticketing solutions for physical ticket sales.
- Provide staffing and equipment necessary for efficient ticketing operations.
- Collaborate with ACB to determine mutually agreed ticket prices.
5.2 Canteen Rights: The Successful bidder shall be responsible to
- Operate canteen stalls in two designated areas within the event venue.
- Offer a variety of meals and refreshments for visitors and crowds on match days at prices that reflect the market price & shall exhibit prominently the authorized rates for sale Officials or representatives.
- Purchase beverages exclusively from the event beverage partner to avoid conflicts of interest.
- Terms and Conditions:
The Bidder shall provide a Security Deposit of AFN 100,000 at the time of submitting of the Bid.
Announcement and RFP Collection dates starts from 16 till 31 July 2024 - time at 10:00am
The Business License copy along with the financial proposal for the Gate ticketing & Canteen Service rights to be submitted in SEALED envelope addressed to Afghanistan Cricket Board.
ACB reserves the right to reject/cancel/postpone any or all bids without assigning any reason and is not bound to accept the lowest bid.
- Eligibility Criteria
The bidder shall necessarily be a legal valid entity in the form of Limited Company/Private Limited Company/Proprietorship etc. The legal status shall be demonstrated through a copy of registration certificate issued by registrar of companies/firms.
