Request For Vocational skills training programs in Kandahar, Helmand and Badakhshan provinces.
UNODC Country Office Afghanistan is currently looking for partner to implement vocational skills training and reintegration services for people who use drugs in Kandahar, Helmand and Badakhshan provinces.
To address drug use and its related disorders United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Country Office for Afghanistan implements JICA funded project on Strengthening Counternarcotics Capacities in Afghanistan. Within the framework of this project and under this Call for Information, the UNODC invites eligible not-for-profit civil society organizations and Non-Governmental Organization (NGOs) to submit their information for review and selection of Implementing Partner (IP) for UNODC to Increase social rehabilitation and reintegration of recovering persons with drug use disorders into their families and society through the implementation vocational skills training programs in Kandahar, Helmand and Badakhshan provinces.
UNODC seeks to partner with an organization that has the following experience:
- Demonstrated prior experience of at least three years implementing vocational skills training programmes.
- Demonstrated working experience with major multilateral/ or bilateral donors and programmes.
- Presence or past relevant working experience in any of the targeted provinces (Kandahar, Helmand and Badakhshan)
- Working experience with Key Population (people who use drugs) is preferable.
