INTRODUCTION
NOVE Caring Humans is an Italian non-profit organization, founded in 2012 by
experts in international development. NOVE creates or enhances socio-economic,
sustainable, and generative development programs and projects. In humanitarian
emergencies, it provides immediate assistance to the population, while paving the way
for a return to normalcy.
All its activities prioritize the most vulnerable individuals, particularly women, children,
and persons with disabilities.
NOVE is an active member of the Agency Coordinating Body for Afghan Relief
and Development (ACBAR), which aims to coordinate and facilitate cooperation
among humanitarian organizations operating in Afghanistan, improving the
effectiveness of their activities and avoiding overlaps in responding to the country’s
humanitarian and development needs. NOVE is also an active member of the Food
Security and Agriculture Cluster (FSAC), Protection Cluster, and Education
Cluster.
The goal of the initiative outlined above is to improve food security and livelihood
opportunities for approximately 6,810 beneficiaries through small-scale livestock
farming, micro-entrepreneurship, and targeted training to enhance productive
capacities in the agri-food sector in the provinces of Kunar, Nangarhar, and Laghman,
which have been heavily affected by the food crisis.
HAVING CONSIDERED ALL THE ABOVE
NOVE, as the implementing agency of the aforementioned project, hereby announces
the issuance of a tender aimed at selecting Economic Operators for the supply of
livestock, as specified below:
Article 1 - OBJECT OF THE SUPPLY
Supply of 530 dairy cattle, divided as follows:
● 176 cattle for the province of Kunar
● 178 cattle for the province of Nangarhar
● 176 cattle for the province of Laghman
as per the technical specifications detailed in Annex A of this tender.
Offers may be submitted:
● for the entire supply of 530 dairy cattle,
● for the supply of cattle to one of the provinces,
● or for the supply to two of the specified provinces.
Only if it is not possible to award the contract to Economic Operators capable of
covering the entire supply for all three provinces or the total quantity, the contract will
be awarded to multiple Economic Operators for individual provinces, provided that the
requirements set out in the tender are met.
