NSCRO Introduction
Noor Safa Coordination and Rehabilitation Organization (NSCRO) is a non-government, non-profit, unilateral, civil society organization established in April 2010 and officially registered in Ministry of Economics of Afghanistan with registration number of 1653. NSCRO’ headquartered in Herat and operates in western region provinces including Ghor and Badghis in the sector of women rights/empowerment, elimination of violence against women, livelihood, vocational training, conflict resolution, peace building, and well as emergency response, relief and development services for most vulnerable and underserved Afghan people.
NSCRO is implementing the project titled” Vocational Skills Development and Community Kitchen for Improved Social Cohesion in Yakawlang District of Bamyan Province. The project is funded by United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The project aims to provide fresh cooked meals for 300 target beneficiaries for 100 days within 5 months of the project life period in 12 target villages in Yakowlang district of Bamyan province Through this project, the target populations receive fresh cooked meal as lunch during their participation at vegetable/fruit processing centres in the target locations. The project started on 28 Feb 2025 and will be completed in 28 July 2025.
