Request For Procurement of Tailoring tools/Equipment, and raw materials (Cloths),Cobbling kits and Mobile Repair

Tender Notice

Reference:  DRA-AFJR/Cordaid – 201330 Project Nangarhar Province and the LPR#119

Procurement of 141 Tailoring tools/Equipment, and raw materials (Cloths), 5 Cobbling kits and 4 Mobile Repairing Kits Delivery to Project Site, Dara-e-Noor Districts of Nangarhar Province.

INVITATION TO BID

RRAA invites you to attend the bidding process of 141 Tailoring tools/Equipment, and raw materials (Cloths), 5 Cobbling kits and 4 Mobile Repairing Kits under Income Generation Component of the project, Delivery to Project Site, Dara-e-Noor Districts of Nangarhar Province project

The following documents shall in addition be submitted with the tender.

  • Supplier is obliged the provide Tailoring materials, goods, equipment and tools as per specifications under approved sample, in case of difference; RRAA has the right to reject the goods.
  • Submit the attached Quotation form with all related pages and should be stamped and signed by the owner of Company
  • Copies of any registration certificates as required by national legislation or competent authorities including company registration certificates and membership certificates of any relevant professional bodies (Shall only be submitted if you have not delivered to the Contracting Authority before)
  • The supplier should attach copies of 2 or 3 equally relevant previous contract and experience certificates if not the company will not be selected for further processing of procurement.
  • Copy of National ID card of the Owner of the participating Company is must.
  • Provision of TIN and the last 1 year’s tax clearance certificate
  • Grantee Letter for providing the required items within the timeline (Specified in the BoQ) considering the qualities of all items/equipment and raw materials specifications explained in the RFQ.
  • Provision of 10% Bid Security in the term of bank certificate, if not provided the applicant will not be eligible to participate in the bid opening ceremony and further processing. 
  • Only the logistic and wholesaler companies are eligible to apply and participate in subject bid.
  • The low-price giver is not the winner, until complete all the requirements of the Procurement Process.
  • The applicant companies should have an active office and stock/Wholesales Centre in Nangarhar province, otherwise the company will not be selected for further processing.
  • The company must provide a valid non expired registration certificate from the relevant legal authorities, if not he will not be selected for further consideration.
  • The delivery locations are Dara-e-Noor districts of Nangarhar province, with at least one distribution point in the targeted district.
  • The exact distribution points and distribution schedule will be specified before each delivery by the RRAA Project Staff but mostly the district centre will be the distribution point.
  • Tailoring Tools, Materials, and equipment must be packed properly (originally packed by the producer or should be packed) as per quantity with its specification; damaged items will be rejected.  
  • Supplier is obliged to make ready the required quantities of Tailoring Material, Tools and Equipment on time for distribution.
  • Supplier is responsible for replacing every good, that does not match the quality standard according to the specifications within one working day free of charge.
  • The prices, as submitted by the supplier in the tender, remain unchanged until the contract expires.
  • Supplier is responsible for the safety and security of his staff and goods until the end of the handover to the RRAA staff. RRAA will not bear any responsibility for loss or damage.
  • Supplier is responsible for covering all costs arising from the transportation, loading, and offloading as per specification during the tendering process, and any other charges until completion of the distribution of items to beneficiaries.
  • Amendments to this contract shall be agreed upon between the two parties and confirmed by a signed document by both sides if required.
  • The only required tailoring machine is Butterfly made in Pakistan 13 Kg.
  • Tailoring Materials, Equipment and tools must be as per sample and RFQ specification and certification labels (original).
  • The priority will be given to Butterfly Machine among other similar sewing machines.
  • The required tools, materials and equipment should be purchased from the local market (Nangarhar)
  • The participating company must be the Logistic or Wholesaler company located in Nangarhar.
  • The applicant must mention the duration of delivery from time of signing contract to final delivery to the site.

Validity

Quotations shall remain valid and open for acceptance for 15 days from the date of issuance from May 14, 2025 – May 28, 2025, at 09:00 AM - Kabul time.

Collection date and time: 14 May 2025, time 8:00 am till 04:00 PM each day and at the last day of announcement 28 May 2025, time 9:00 AM.

Bide Opening date and time; May 28, 2025. Time from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM in Jalalabad ERO office ate above-mentioned address. If the mentioned date falls on a holiday, the validity shall be extended to the next working day.
