Submitting the document

Duly completed forms together with all relevant supporting documents should be submitted:

1. by email at iomheratprocurement@iom.int  (with attachments not exceeding 10 MB) with subject heading RFI-2025-IOM HERAT or
2. by hand delivery to IOM HERAT HMAC Pole Pashto, Airport Highway, Guzarah District, _ Herat _Afghanistan following address by 10.00am Monday , 23rd  June 2025. The envelope should be clearly marked RFI-2025-IOM HERAT

OBJECTIVES OF RFI

The purpose of this RFI is to gain a more detailed understanding of the supply market and existing solutions to identify suppliers who have the expertise and the capacity to supply goods, items within the required categories.

This RFI is open to all entities and companies registered and having a valid license to operate in Afghanistan.

After the deadline for submission of responses has passed, IOM will review responses received and establish a database of potential suppliers. In order to verify the correctness of the information provided, IOM will visit and assess the supplier/service provider. The qualified supplier/service providers will be included in the pre-qualified list of suppliers. The suppliers in the pre-qualified list will have the opportunity to be considered for upcoming procurement opportunities in sourcing required items efficiently.

This RFI is not a solicitation for proposals and does not constitute a commitment to any procurement action. It is intended for information gathering purposes only.

                                                    SPECIFIC INFORMATION IOM IS EXPECTING TO RECEIVE        

To become eligible Interested companies, businesses, vendors, suppliers, and service providers should submit the following documents:

1. Complete and signed ANNEX A: Bidders Information Ensure all information provided is accurate and up to date.
2. Submit Required Supporting Documents: Include all necessary supporting documents as outlined in the Annex A.
3. Annex B- category of Goods and service- MARK/TICK your area of expertise.
4. Active business experience in providing the service/goods/works in their area of expertise for minimum 3 years.

This request for RFI is a non-binding inquiry and does not constitute a solicitation. IOM reserves the right to change or cancel this procurement process or any of its requirements at any time during the process.

IOM Afghanistan conducts most of its procurements through the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM). Therefore, we encourage vendors to register on the UNGM website http://www.ungm.org/

Existing IOM suppliers and the suppliers who have participated in IOM invitation to bids in the past but have not received awards or orders from IOM are also requested to submit their information.
