The ECW-MYR (Education Cannot Wait – Multi-Year Resilience) project aims to improve access to quality education for out-of-school and crisis-affected children in Afghanistan. The project operates in three provinces: Nangarhar, Paktika, and Badghis through the establishment of Community-Based Education (CBE) classes.
The project supports a total of 430 CBE classes across the target provinces: 150 in Nangarhar, 200 in Paktika, and 80 in Badghis, reaching 11,690 students (girls and boys). The intervention focuses on inclusive education delivery, teacher recruitment and training, provision of teaching and learning materials, community mobilization, and regular monitoring to ensure education continuity in hard-to-reach areas.
