REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (RFEOI)
Matching Grants Program!
Roots of Peace (ROP), through the UNDP-funded Afghanistan Community Resilience Program (ACRP), invites Expressions of Interest from qualified firms working in agricultural value chains .
The program aims to strengthen supply chains, improve post-harvest handling, expand market access, and support export development of fresh and dried fruits and nuts. Through its Grants Program, ACRP provides co-investment support for the establishment of:
- Cold Storage Facilities
Grants up to USD 50,000 for cold storage development. Applicants must contribute at least 50% of total investment (30% for women-owned/managed businesses). - Provincial and District Market Sheds
Grants up to USD 22,000 (provincial) and USD 14,000 (district level). Applicants must contribute at least 50% of total investment (30% for women-owned/managed businesses).
These investments aim to reduce post-harvest losses, improve product quality, and strengthen market and export linkages.
This RFEOI is issued to pre-qualify experienced firms. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in the subsequent Request for Applications (RFA).
