ITB – Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of Centralized Solar Power System(s) – Balkh Province
Description:
The Canadian International Community Association (CICA) invites qualified, eligible, and duly licensed suppliers to submit sealed bids for the supply, installation, and commissioning of centralized solar power system(s) in Balkh Province, Afghanistan.
The objective of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a framework agreement with one or more suppliers to provide reliable and sustainable energy solutions to support program implementation, digital training activities, and overall project operations.
Scope of Services:
The selected supplier(s) will be responsible for:
- Supply and delivery of centralized solar power system(s)
- Provision of all required components including solar panels, batteries, inverter, mounting structures, and accessories
- Installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of the system
- Ensuring all equipment is brand new, high quality, and compliant with specifications
- Providing warranty (minimum 1 year) and after-sales support
- Training relevant staff on system operation and maintenance
Technical Specifications (Summary):
- Solar Panels: 4 kW total capacity (8 × 550W)
- Battery Storage: 7–10 kWh
- Inverter: 4 kW hybrid inverter
Eligibility Criteria:
- Legally registered company in Afghanistan
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in solar systems / renewable energy
- Proven experience with NGOs/UN agencies (preferred)
- Technical capacity for installation and commissioning
- Tax compliant
