The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Afghanistan invites qualified, duly licensed, technically capable, and financially sound service providers to submit proposals for the establishment of one or more non-exclusive Long-Term Agreement(s) (LTA) for the provision of road transport services for humanitarian and operational cargo across Afghanistan, including trucks and related services.

The purpose of this procurement is to ensure the continuous availability of safe, reliable, flexible, and timely trucking services to support IOM operations nationwide. The resulting LTA(s) will be established for an initial period of one (1) year, with possible extension(s) subject to satisfactory performance and IOM operational requirements.

The LTA will be used on an as-needed basis only and does not constitute a commitment by IOM to procure a minimum quantity or value of services.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Valid business license in Afghanistan with at least six (6) months validity remaining at the proposal
  • Relevant experience in road transport / trucking / logistics services
  • Evidence of at least three (3) similar contracts
  • Availability of the required truck categories and supporting fleet documentation, as specified in the solicitation documents.

Pre-Bid Meeting:

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held as indicated in the solicitation documents.
