About the Company

Concern Worldwide is a non-governmental, international, humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries. Currently, Concern has been working in Afghanistan since 1998, when it responded to an earthquake disaster in Takhar province. Currently Concern has been working in Takhar and Badakhshan provinces undertaking both emergency response and long-term developmental work in the areas of livelihood security, primary education and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene. 

Job Summary

Main duty and Responsibilities:

Community Mobilization, Group Formation, Gender inclusion, and Community Engagement

بسیج جامعه، تشکیل گروپ ها، شمولیت جنسیتی و مشارکت جامعه

·       Mobilize communities for participation in livelihood, agriculture, livestock, and natural resource management (NRM) activities.

بسیج جوامع برای مشارکت در فعالیت‌های معیشتی، زراعت، مالداری و مدیریت منابع طبیعی

 

·       Facilitate the establishment and functioning of: تسهیل ایجاد و فعالیت موارد زیر        
 - Agricultural Service Centersمراکز خدمات زراعتی

- Self-Help Groups (SHGs)گروپ کمک های خودی

- Watershed Management Committees (WMCs( and watershedsکمیته میدریت آبریزه

·       Support the engagement of community and religious leaders to encourage inclusive participation and community ownership.

Support Livelihood and Income-Generating Activities

حمایت از فعالیت‌های معیشتی و درآمدزایی

·       Assist in identifying beneficiaries for livelihood activities.کمک در تشخیص مستفیدین

·       Support community-level implementation of on-farm and off-farm livelihood activities.حمایت جوامع بخاطر تطبق فعالیت های زراعتی و غیر زراعتی

·       Support regular follow-up at household and group levels to ensure the effective adoption of improved practices.پیگیری منظم در سطح خانواده ها و حمایت از تطبق موثر 

·       Assist male support officers in the implementation of SHG, on-farm, off-farm, and other project activities.همکاری در تطبق فعالیت های گروپ کمک خودی

·       Support input distribution and facilitate beneficiaries’ access to community infrastructure and facilities (Irrigation networks, Agricultural service centers, Loca, veterinary field units and Storage infrastructure).

حمایت از مستفیدین برای دسترسی به زیر بناها و تسهیلات اجتماعی (شبکه آبیاری, مراکز راعتی..) .

·       Support the distribution of enhanced assets and inputs to selected beneficiaries and groups to scale up production, add value, and initiate production of flagship products.

·       Facilitate the distribution of boost funding to SHGs to strengthen savings and loan schemes and support female beneficiary-established shops.
تسهیل توزیع کمک‌های مال به گروپ های کمک خودی برای تقویت سیستم‌های پس‌انداز و قرضه و حمایت از ایجاد دکان‌های ایجادشده توسط زنان مستفید.

Training, Awareness, Capacity Building, and Market Linkages

آموزش، آگاهی‌دهی، ظرفیت‌سازی و ایجاد ارتباطات بازار

·       Mobilize participants for training and awareness sessions.

بسیج اشتراک کننده ها در جلسات آموزشی وآگاهی دهی

·       Deliver SHG capacity-building and training on savings, leadership, bookkeeping, and withdrawal. ارایه آموزش گروپ کمک خودی در مورد پس انداز, رهبری و ثبت حسابات و برداشت ها

·       Deliver advanced livelihoods training on on-farm and off-farm activities.

·       Facilitate SHG-led community nutrition dialogues.تسهیل گفتگو های تغذی در سطح جامعه

·       Train beneficiaries to overcome barriers to markets and improve market participation.

·       Ensure relevant project information is effectively communicated to target groups, beneficiaries, and communities.اطمنان از انتقال موثر معلومات

·       Facilitate market linkages for groups producing flagship products.

·       Support selected SHG members to act as traders for clusters of SHGs.

·       Attend SHG monthly meetings and strengthen members’ knowledge on bookkeeping, savings and loans, meetings, and group management. شرکت در جلسات ماهوار

·       Support SHGs in developing group regulations and revolving loan schemes for income-generating activities. حمایت از اعضای گروپ کمک خودی در ساختن طرزالعمل

Natural Resource Management and Infrastructure Support

مدیریت منابع طبیعی و حمایت از زیرساخت‌ها

·       Support Watershed Management Committees (WMCs) in sustainable management and use of natural resources. حمایت از کمیته های مدیریت آبریزه

·       Facilitate community participation in watershed and irrigation-related activities.

·       Support the use and maintenance of project-supported community infrastructure and facilities. حمایت از استفاده و نگهداری از ریرساخت ها و تسهیلات اجتماعی تحت برنامه

Coordination, Reporting, and Accountability

هماهنگی، گزارش‌دهی و پاسخ‌گویی

·       Develop and submit weekly and monthly work plans and reports to the line supervisor.تهیه و ارایه پلان کاری و گذارش به مسول مربوطه

·       Ensure regular data collection against agreed indicators and maintain records of meetings, group activities, beneficiaries, feedback, and project progress.

اطمینان از جمع‌آوری منظم داده‌ها بر اساس شاخص‌های توافق‌شده و ثبت سوابق جلسات، فعالیت‌های گروپی، مستفیدین، بازخوردها و پیشرفت پروژه..

·       Act as the primary link between communities and project staff.

·       Report community issues, risks, feedback, complaints, and success stories to the Livelihood Support Officer.

·       Support accountability and community feedback mechanisms.
گزارش‌دهی مشکلات، خطرات، بازخوردها، شکایات و داستان‌های موفقیت جامعه به مسؤول مربوطه

Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) and Emergency:

  • The concern is committed to CHS to ensure downward accountability. CHS standards guide Concern activities in all stages both emergency and development projects /programs. In Afghanistan, we also bounded our activities by Accountability framework and therefore any Afghanistan employees is responsible to comply with CHS principles and benchmarks as instructed by its policies and therefore make sure that all accept and implement CHS standards in all our activities.
  • To give full support in relation to emergencies/ humanitarian operations when occurring in any area that Concern Afghanistan will respond. This can include but is not limited to participation in the Concern Afghanistan Rapid Deployment Unit (CARDU) and deployment on emergency response teams.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

ü  Diploma/degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Economy or related fields

لیسانس در زراعت، تجارت و سایر رشته های مشابه

ü  At least 1 or 2 years work experience with NGOs in Agriculture, VLSA, Business, Marketing, Value Chain and other similar fields

یک تا دو سال تجربه کاری در بخش های زراعت، تجارت، بازاریابی، زنجیره ارزش و دیگر بخش های مشابه.

ü  Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders and to manage and organize community meetings.                                  مهار برقراری ارتباط را داشته باشد.

ü  Excellent communication and coordination skills.مهارت عالی در ارتباط و هماهنگی

ü  Computer skills: Good knowledge of Ms Office package, (Word, Excel and Power Point)  مهارت کمپوتر: آشنای خوب با برنامه های آفیس داشته باشد

ü  Excellent local speaking and English is an advantageAbility to work in remote communities. توانایی صحبت کردن لسان محلی را داشته باشد و انگلیسی یک امتیاز است.

ü  Ability to work with community members and spend at least 90% of time in the field
