About Social Development Agricultural & Reconstruction Organization SDARO:
Social Agricultural Development & Reconstruction Organization (SDARO) is an Afghan legally registered with Ministry of Commerce under License No. 5766 is a national, nongovernmental, non- profitable, non-political, non-partisan and non-sectarian humanitarian organization committed to the development, welfare and humanitarian assistance of Afghans in the country.
The Peace Development and Initiative Organization (PDIO), a non-governmental and non-profitable organization, establised in 2019 has faced vast changes along the current government:
- In order to create a bank account the Minstry of Commerce said that PDIO has to eliminate women from leadership/board of directory and word “Peace” from the title of their NGO.
- The directory board of PDIO was rejected by the DF authorites because the majority and leading positions were women.
- With the coming of DF authorites all previous NGOs whose leadership was in the hands of women were dissolved.
- In order to create a bank account PDIO has changed its name to SDARO and has aligned its name and policies according to the current government.

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E):
-
Design and implement M&E systems and tools for project tracking.

Collect, analyze, and report on program data to measure outcomes and impact.

Support program teams in developing indicators and monitoring plans.

Conduct field visits to verify data quality and assess project progress.

Prepare regular M&E reports for internal and donor use.
Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA):
-
Lead the implementation of PSEA policies and procedures.
-
Conduct training and awareness sessions on PSEA for staff and partners.
-
Establish safe and confidential reporting mechanisms for SEA incidents.
-
Investigate or support investigations into SEA allegations, ensuring survivor-centered approaches.
-
Collaborate with HR and Protection teams to ensure safeguarding measures are in place.
Job Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
-
Minimum 1 -2 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation and/or PSEA work.

Basic skills in data collection and analysis (e.g., using Excel, KoboToolbox, or similar tools).

Good understanding of safeguarding and protection from sexual exploitation and abuse.
-
Able to write clear reports and keep good records.

Comfortable speaking in front of groups and giving training.
-
Able to travel to field locations when needed.
-
Works well in a team and respects confidentiality.
-
Good communication skills in Pashto, Dari, and English.
