Job Description:
- The Food Security and Agriculture Project Manager is responsible for the management, implementation, coordination, and technical support of all aspects of the FCA project in Paktika province
- Ensure compliance with FSAC guidelines and standards in all project activities.
- Lead and manage the project team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans to track project progress and impact.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities and provide feedback.
- Prepare and submit timely progress reports to senior management and donors.
- Coordinate with local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during project implementation.
- Manage the project budget and ensure all expenditures are in line with the project plan.
- Ensure financial accountability and transparency in all project activities.
- Oversee the beneficiary selection process, ensuring it is transparent and in line with FSAC criteria.
- Providing regular updates to FSAC regional focal points with the frequency suggested; monthly reports to the FSAC through Report-Hub;
- Closely cooperate and coordinate with the project technical team and the concerned government departments’ relevant staff for the design, quality, development and completion of all assessments and analytical reports.
Job Requirements:
- University degree in agricultur
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and oral English language skills
- Previous coordination/management experience
- Previous experience with FSAC cluster, relevant UN agencies
