ACBAR

DAARTT (Danish Assistance to Afghan Rehabilitation and Technical Training) is a Danish based organization established in Afghanistan by the Danish People’s Aid (DPA) in 2003.

The organization is specialized in construction and has so far built more than 200 schools, clinics and other buildings in Afghanistan. DAARTT is also engaged in humanitarian and development activities supporting the most vulnerable groups/population of the country. DAARTT got and maintains membership with ACBAR and several technical clusters; such as WASH, Education, ES/NFI and Health clusters.

About the project:

The overall objective of the project is to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to the shock affected vulnerable population in Bilcheragh and Dawlat Abad districts of Faryab province through by provision of Cash Assistance for Shelter Repair (Minor & Major Repair) and Transitional Shelter support.

Main components of the project are: 

1. Provision of Cash assistance for Repair or upgrade of existing shelters that are in poor conditions.
2. Support to construct transitional and permanent shelters – construction of one-bedroom and two-bedroom shelters.

1. Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces
2. Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors
3. Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
4. Disposing of trash from bins and containers
5. Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed
6. Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
7. Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
8. Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products
9. Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy
10. Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job
11. To be always on time on duty.
12. Monitor the gate and the security of the compound
13. Responsible for the presence of all equipment’s around the office and willing to work in other areas flexibly when requested.
14. To keep the office yard clean.
15. To assist with all DAARTT field staff when officially needed
16. To receive and announce guests to the compound.
17. To treat any visitors with due respect and firmness.
18. To monitor that no weapons enter the compound.
19. To provide assistance when a staff is in need of his assistance.
20. To keep the compound and the guard room clean and tidy.

1. At least have High School Degree
2. The Guards and Cleaner can be hired with 1-year relevant experience
