HHRD Afghanistan got registered as an international INGO in February 2014 with the number of (402) with the ministry of economy in the Islamic republic of Afghanistan to serve Afghan destitute families all over Afghanistan, HHRD needs one poultry trainer for Zabul/Ghazni province, the trainer will receive 15000 AFN monthly salary.
Job Description:
Qualifications:
- Graduated from a veterinary or agriculture university or relevant field.
- At least, 3 years of experience in poultry management training programs/projects preferably directly handling any of the mentioned project components.
- Capacity building and facilitation skills
- Conceptual and analytic thinking
Job Requirements:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for training the beneficiaries in classes and door to door trainings
- Follow up of the poultry activities in the targeted districts.
- To work closely with the poultry producing groups and monitor poultry activities in the targeted district.
- Report to supervisor on poultry project inputs/activities according to the agreed project ToR specification.
- Manage the poultry inputs, especially pullets, feed, drinkers, feeders and medicines etc.
- Deliver standard training messages to the targeted beneficiaries according to the training manual.
- Keep all the records of poultry activities, input delivery /supply and assured the quality and quantity of inputs.
- Report the activities on monthly basis to supervisor and programs manager.
- Conduct field demonstration and makes its reports.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders working in livestock/poultry sector on provincial level.
- Report any outbreak of poultry disease to nearest VFUs immediately.
- Keep the beneficiaries about the expected diseases and risks related to layers.
- Perform any other duty assigned by management .
