About OCHR (Organization for Coordination of Humanitarian Relief):
OCHR is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization implementing relief, stabilization, and development programs across Afghanistan. OCHR’s primary advocacy and existence is based on reducing the suffering of Afghanistan’s most vulnerable groups and providing the tools and resources needed to increase their self-sufficiency, focusing on addressing the needs of communities emerging from conflict or natural disaster. OCHR collaborates with a wide range of partners and donors, local organizations, and many others to deliver sustainable services aligned with SDGs and UN triple nexus i.e. to interlink humanitarian, development, and peace.
OCHR program planning and theory of change mainly focus to achieve A-SDGs i.e. its institutional setup and policy documents is founded to recognize and interlink sustainable development and relevant ongoing processes.
Since its establishment, throughout the years OCHR has developed an integrated strategic approach, which addresses the needs of vulnerable people living both in humanitarian and development settings. OCHR's key programmatic and strategic priorities in Afghanistan are;

OCHR differ widely in its program planning and strategies—contributing in long-term interventions concerning humanitarian response and sustainable development, and specifically focuses on the ultra-poor communities of Afghanistan enabling them to develop sustainable livelihood through microfinance and re-integration into society.
Job Description:
OCHR is seeking two qualified Data Entry Clerks to support its project operations in Paktika and Daikundi provinces. The Data Entry Clerks will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and complete entry of project-related information into the designated systems. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with project teams in the field.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter project-related data into approved databases and systems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and consistency in line with project requirements.
- Support the Project Manager, M&E team, and other staff in preparing reports and maintaining proper records.
- Regularly verify, update, and reconcile data to prevent errors and duplication.
- Maintain organized filing systems (both electronic and hard copy) for project documentation.
- Safeguard confidentiality of all project-related information.
- Perform other data-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in data entry, recordkeeping, or similar clerical work.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly MS Excel, Word, and database systems.
- Good organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Fluency in English, Dari and Pashto Language
- Willingness to be based in Paktika or Daikundi province and committed to the project full time.
