Afghanistan Women Mission Empowerment Organization (AWMEO) is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political, and development-oriented humanitarian organization. It was founded and registered with the Ministry of Economy in 2015 by a group of Afghan professionals. AWMEO was established to address the real needs of communities and to empower Afghans to advocate for their rights and gain access to vocational training, education, and human rights in a peaceful and developed environment. The organization has also worked in the fields of education, health, agriculture, and livelihood to improve the well-being of vulnerable communities across Afghanistan.

• Monitor and support child protection case management and referral processes, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
• Ensure cash assistance and winterization kits distributions are conducted safely and in compliance with protection standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate protection risks, including risks of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
• Conduct awareness sessions with communities on child rights, protection issues, and safe winterization practices.
• Liaise with local authorities, community leaders, and other actors to strengthen protection mechanisms and coordination.
• Maintain records of protection activities and incidents, ensuring confidentiality and secure storage of sensitive information.
• Support MEAL Officer in monitoring protection outcomes, accountability, and reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to project staff on protection principles and safeguarding.

• University degree in social sciences, psychology, law, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in child protection or protection programming.
• Knowledge of child protection standards and safeguarding policies.
• Fluency in Pashto, Dari and English languages.
• Willingness to travel frequently to field locations in Zabul Province.
