Afghanistan Women Mission Empowerment Organization (AWMEO) is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political, and development-oriented humanitarian organization. It was founded and registered with the Ministry of Economy in 2015 by a group of Afghan professionals. AWMEO was established to address the real needs of communities and to empower Afghans to advocate for their rights and gain access to vocational training, education, and human rights in a peaceful and developed environment. The organization has also worked in the fields of education, health, agriculture, and livelihood to improve the well-being of vulnerable communities across Afghanistan.

• Conduct community outreach and home visits to identify vulnerable children and families in need of assistance.
• Assess and register children for project services, documenting vulnerabilities and specific needs.
• Develop and implement case management plans, including psychosocial support, follow-up visits, and referral to health, education, or protection services.
• Support cash assistance and winterization kits distribution, ensuring children and families receive the support they need in a safe and dignified manner.
• Monitor the impact of project assistance on children’s well-being and report any emerging protection risks.
• Conduct awareness sessions for families on winterization practices and child protection issues.
• Maintain confidential and accurate case files and submit regular reports to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with Community Mobilizers, Protection Officers, and local authorities to strengthen child protection mechanisms.

• University degree in social sciences, psychology, education, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in child protection, case management, or social work.
• Knowledge of child protection standards and safeguarding principles.
• Fluency in Pashto and Dari; English is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within Zabul Province.
