About Madina Specialized Center:
This role is part of a specialized sub-project under Medina Specialized Center, an organization based in Afghanistan.
The project focuses on identifying and securing grants, startup funding programs, investments, awards, fellowships, and training opportunities from external organizations and institutions worldwide.
Unlike traditional NGO-based grant activities, this initiative operates in a for-profit environment, focusing on business-oriented funding opportunities that support startups, innovation projects, and business development initiatives.
The team works remotely and collaborates with organizations and institutions globally.
Job Description:
The Senior Business Development & Grants Officer will be responsible for researching worldwide funding opportunities and preparing high-quality written applications and documentation.
The role focuses mainly on grant research, funding applications, proposal preparation, and business development activities.
Key responsibilities include:

Researching and identifying worldwide grants, startup funding programs, awards, fellowships, and training opportunities.

Preparing and submitting grant applications, funding proposals, and related documentation.

Developing business plans, proposals, presentations, and application materials required for funding opportunities.

Completing application forms and managing the full submission process.

Preparing company-related documents such as proposals, presentations, and structured project documents with the support of AI tools.

Conducting research to identify new funding and development opportunities.

Supporting business development activities through proposal preparation and opportunity development.

Using AI tools and modern research technologies to improve efficiency in research, writing, and documentation.

Reporting directly to top management.

Performing additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by top management when required.
Job Requirements:
Applicants should have strong analytical and writing abilities and experience preparing structured professional documents.
Requirements include:

Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in business development, proposal writing, grant applications, or research.

Strong English reading and writing skills (excellent written English is essential).

Educational background in fields such as Business Administration & Development, Finance, Economics, Management, Sales, or International Business.
