Job Description:
The Team Leader will supervise the implementation and coordination of the project activities, ensuring effective and timely delivery of assistance to conflict-affected families through Multiple Purpose Cash Assistance MPCA and Psychosocial Support (PSS). The role focuses on day-to-day supervision of the team, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and ensuring quality service delivery, while contributing to reporting, documentation, and accountability processes during the project period.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise all project activities, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and project objectives.
Supervise and guide field staff delivering MPCA, PSS sessions, and referral services to conflict-affected individuals and families.
Assist in coordinating with relevant clusters, local authorities, and community representatives.
Ensure timely and accurate beneficiary identification, verification, and assistance delivery.
Monitor daily field activities and provide feedback to improve the quality of services.
Promote community engagement, awareness, and feedback mechanisms, ensuring accountability to affected populations.
Assist in tracking project progress and reporting any delays, risks, or challenges to the Project Manager.
Support MEAL activities, including pre-distribution verifications, post-distribution monitoring (PDM) and data collection.
Ensure adherence to protection principles, safeguarding, PSEA, and confidentiality standards.
Maintain accurate field-level documentation, records, and reports.
Encourage gender-sensitive, inclusive, and culturally appropriate service delivery.
Support team members through on-the-job guidance and ensure a safe and respectful working environment.
Ensure all staff are trained in PSEA and safeguarding protocols.
Maintain project documentation and records.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Management, Development Studies, Economics, Public Administration, Project Management, and/ or a related field.
A Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management in humanitarian or development settings.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
Strong communication skills in English, Pashto, and Dari.
Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to humanitarian values and community empowerment.
Precision and attention to detail in design and supervision.
Strong problem-solving and field coordination abilities.
Respectful collaboration with communities and stakeholders.
Integrity, transparency, and accountability in all project actions.
