Position Summary:
The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department by assisting with financial record-keeping, documentation, and reporting. The intern will gain hands-on experience in financial operations, contribute to department efficiency, and support organizational goals as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day administrative functions of the Finance Department.
- Support in processing financial transactions, including payments and receipts.
- Help in maintaining financial records and organizing files (both hard and soft copies).
- Assist in preparing financial reports, invoices, and expense tracking sheets.
- Support in reconciling bank statements and tracking expenditures.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with financial policies and donor regulations.
- Help in data entry for accounting systems and maintaining financial databases.
- Participate in internal financial audits and assist in documentation.
- Assist in compiling finance-related reports and summaries.
- Perform other finance related tasks as assigned.
