About the Company

Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan.

Job Summary

Develop and deliver practical computer training sessions based on participants’ needs and skill levels. Provide training on basic computer skills, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, internet use, email, and digital communication. Train participants on basic digital tools relevant to business, marketing, online communication, and livelihood activities. Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises to ensure effective learning. Assess participants’ existing computer skills and monitor their progress throughout the training. Prepare training materials, exercises, presentations, and practical assignments. Provide individual support and coaching to participants who require additional assistance. Maintain accurate records of attendance, training sessions, assessments, and participant progress. Ensure proper use, maintenance, and security of computer equipment and training facilities. Support participants in applying their newly acquired digital skills to employment and income-generating opportunities. Conduct regular assessments and provide recommendations for improving the training program. Prepare training reports and contribute to project documentation and success stories. Coordinate closely with the project team and other technical specialists to ensure the training supports overall livelihood objectives. Perform other relevant duties assigned by the organization.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications. Minimum 2–3 years of practical experience as a Computer Instructor, IT Trainer, ICT Officer, or in a similar position. Candidates with strong practical computer skills and proven experience in delivering hands-on computer training will be given preference. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good knowledge of internet use, email, online communication, and basic digital tools. Previous experience providing training to youth, women, vulnerable communities, or livelihood-program participants is highly desirable. Experience with NGO/INGO or donor-funded projects is an advantage. Strong communication, presentation, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop practical and easy-to-understand training materials. Patience and ability to work effectively with participants with different levels of computer literacy. Good reporting and documentation skills. Fluency in Dari, Pashto; working knowledge of English is an advantage. Willingness and ability to travel to project locations.
