Purpose:

The Housekeeper ensures that the ICRC premises are clean.

Main Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities:

•  Provides cleaning/housekeeping/laundry services at ICRC premises
•  Informs his/her supervisor about any issues regarding the premises (materials needed to carry out duties, malfunctioning equipment, damaged furniture or premises, etc.)
• Supports maintenance, logistics and other colleagues in a variety of manual tasks when assigned to the office.
• Performs duties and tasks not covered in this job description and provide support to other departments when necessary.
• Prepares tea for the offices and washes the dishes.

Job requirement:

-        Primary school education.

-        Basic knowledge of English.

-        Similar work experience is desirable.

-        Knowledge of basic hygiene principles.
