About Afghanistan Social and Legal Organization (ASLO):

ASLO is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, non-profit and non-partisan organization and has the status of legal entity. The organization was informally established in 2012 and was officially registered with the ministry of economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in 2013.

Job Description:
- Lead and manage health program implementation in Badakhshan, Baghlan, Kapisa, Parwan, Ghor, Paktika, Ghazni, Faryab. ensuring alignment with organizational goals and national health strategies.
- Coordinate with provincial health authorities, NGOs, and community leaders to support health initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance and prepare regular reports.
- Manage provincial health staff, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and logistical planning for health projects.
- Ensure compliance with donor regulations, government policies, and organizational standards.
- Support capacity building of local health providers and promote community health awareness programs.
- Facilitate communication between the provincial office and headquarters.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Medicine, Health Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in health program management, preferably in Afghanistan or similar contexts.
- Strong understanding of Afghanistan’s health system and provincial health challenges.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under challenging conditions and travel within the province.
- Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto and English (spoken and written).
- Commitment to gender equality and inclusion.
