Job Summary

Main Responsibilities: 

·       Safety Risk Assessment

·       Planning and preparatory safety procedures

·       Crisis management preparation

·       Training and briefing

·       Relations with government and other stakeholders

Main Tasks:

·       Conduct and maintain safety risk assessments for NCAs operating areas, in line with the Country Office and Global manual.

·       Develop, implement, and regularly review safety procedures.  

·       Establish and maintain crisis management plans, including scenario-based response strategies. Coordinate simulation exercises with SMT and field teams to test readiness. Ensure all staff know their roles during emergencies.

·       Regular briefing for staff and SMT. Visitor briefing. Conduct regular training according to annual plan. 

·       Develop and maintain good relations with government and other relevant stakeholders (Police, GDI, UNDSS etc) at national and provincial levels. 

·       Any other tasks assigned by line manager.

Job Requirements

·       Proven level of educational accomplishment bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Attend security training/courses including first aid.

·       Safety experience in developing plan.

·       Conduct emergency response training to staff and SMT.
Familiarity with the use of available tools including radios, ladders, fire extinguishers.

·       Ability to brief both verbal and written.

·       Situational awareness

·       Management of staff in a complex environment.

·       Good presentation skills.

·       Good communication skills.

·       Ability to work with local communities and government authorities.
