Job Summary

Position Summary

TM4 Security Services is seeking experienced, disciplined, and highly motivated Afghan nationals to serve as Unarmed Security Guards Supervisors in support of a prestigious international client. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising security personnel, ensuring the effective implementation of security operations, maintaining compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and supporting the protection of personnel, facilities, and assets.

The Security Supervisor serves as the first-line leader responsible for maintaining discipline, operational readiness, incident response, and the overall performance of assigned security personnel.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Unarmed Security Guard Supervisor shall:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of assigned security guards.
  • Ensure all security personnel perform their duties in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), post orders, and company policies.
  • Conduct shift briefings and debriefings, ensuring all personnel understand operational requirements.
  • Monitor access control operations for pedestrians, vehicles, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
  • Supervise vehicle inspections, personnel screening, and visitor management procedures.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections of assigned compounds, buildings, and perimeter areas.
  • Ensure all guards maintain proper appearance, discipline, alertness, and professionalism.
  • Respond immediately to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, medical situations, fire incidents, and security breaches.
  • Coordinate emergency response until relieved by senior management or emergency services.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Client's security representatives and TM4 management.
  • Prepare accurate Daily Situation Reports (SITREPs), incident reports, occurrence books, and shift handover reports.
  • Report security vulnerabilities, safety hazards, equipment failures, and operational concerns.
  • Monitor guard attendance, shift rosters, and deployment requirements.
  • Mentor, coach, and evaluate subordinate security personnel.
  • Ensure security equipment is properly maintained and operational.
  • Conduct on-the-job training and reinforce compliance with security procedures.
  • Assist in investigations of incidents and security violations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Security Manager or Project Management.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Afghan National.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Business Administration, Military Science, Police Science, or a related field. Candidates with extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in military, police, private security, or security operations.
  • Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Previous experience supporting international organizations, diplomatic missions, embassies, or NGOs is highly desirable.
  • Good command of Dari and Pashto.
  • Working knowledge of English (spoken and written) is must.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Physically fit and medically capable of performing security duties.
  • No criminal record.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and emergency call-outs.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates possessing:

  • Supervisory experience on international security contracts.
  • Security management or leadership training.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Fire safety and emergency response training.
  • Incident Command System (ICS) or crisis management training.
  • Experience with CCTV monitoring, access control systems, and security screening equipment.
  • Report writing and incident investigation experience.
