Job Summary

Job Description & Core Duties

The Neonatal & Maternal Care Nurse plays a critical role in providing comprehensive medical and nursing assistance to newborn infants and post-delivery maternal patients. The successful candidates will ensure the highest standard of patient safety, clinical triage, and treatment adherence within our expanding ward units.

·       Patient Monitoring:  Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and specialized treatments strictly according to clinical orders.

·       Newborn Stabilization:  Closely track neonatal vital signs and immediately report critical alterations to the attending Pediatrician.

·       Maternal Support:  Deliver expert preoperative and post-operative clinical care, ensuring tracking of maternal recovery markers.

Job Requirements

 

·        Certified Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an institution officially verified by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).

·        Proven professional nursing history within active maternity units, delivery rooms, or neonatal ICU wards.

·        Solid knowledge of standard neonatal resuscitation protocols and operational monitoring equipment.

·        Clear professional communication fluencies in Pashto and Dari; basic understanding of medical English terms.
