Conducting TVET Classes for EPDO Project Beneficiaries in Farah and Ghor Provinces

Purpose of Engagement

EPDO intends to contract a qualified Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) service provider to deliver six-month, competency-focused vocational training to 639 beneficiaries across Farah and Ghor Provinces. The assignment covers Farah City, Pusht Road, Qala-e-Kah and Bala Boluk in Farah Province, and Firooz Koh, Passaband and Charsada in Ghor Province, with separate groups for girls, boys and women. The planned trades are bee keeping, electrical installation and solar panel maintenance, embroidery, motorcycle repairing, mobile repairing, and chicken farming/poultry.

Organizational Profile

The Equality for Peace and Development Organization (EPDO) is an Afghan non-profit, non-governmental organization registered with the Ministry of Economy and a member of ACBAR. Established in 2010, EPDO empowers Afghan women and youth in their communities and advocates for their rights at the policy level.

Purpose of the Terms of Reference

These Terms of Reference (TOR) set out the requirements for engaging an experienced service provider to organize and deliver Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) classes for EPDO project beneficiaries in Farah and Ghor Provinces. The service provider will be expected to provide qualified trainers, suitable learning facilities, basic training equipment, structured instruction, practical exercises, assessment, documentation, and quality assurance throughout the assignment.
