FMIC | Request for Information (RFI) – Laboratory Analyzers

The French Medical Institute for Mothers and Children (FMIC) invites manufacturers, authorized distributors, and qualified suppliers to submit technical proposals for the following equipment on a Placement (reagent-rental) basis:

1. Fully Automated Biochemistry Analyzer (backup to the main instrument)
2. Fully Automated Immunoassay Analyzer (backup to the main instrument)
3. Semi-Automated Coagulation Analyzer (backup to the main instrument)
4. Fully Automated Hemoglobin Electrophoresis / HPLC Analyzer
5. Multi-Channel Immunoassay Analyzer with Random Access Capability for Quantitative H. pylori Antigen Testing

Interested suppliers may download the technical specifications attached to this announcement and prepare their submissions accordingly.

Contract Duration: The placement contract will be for one to three years, as determined by FMIC.

Established Brands and Local Availability: Suppliers must propose established brands with existing installations in hospitals, laboratories, or other healthcare institutions in Afghanistan. Reagents for the proposed analyzers must be available through multiple suppliers in the local market.

Submission Requirements:

• A technical proposal identifying the manufacturer and model, addressing the specifications, and clearly stating any deviations.
• Technical brochures and product datasheets for each proposed analyzer.
• Details of existing installations in Afghanistan, including institution names, locations, and reference contacts.
• Indicative delivery lead time.
• Copies of similar contracts undertaken during the ten years preceding the submission deadline, demonstrating relevant experience.
• An authorized distributorship letter, if available. This is preferred but not mandatory, other qualified suppliers are welcome to participate as well.
• The full test menu and parameter portfolio supported by each proposed analyzer, and
• A copy of the supplier’s valid business license.

Submission Deadline: 18 November 2026

Complete proposals and supporting documents must be submitted in hard copy, enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “RFI – Placement of Laboratory Analyzers.”
