Job Description:

  • Contribute, coordinate, and collaborate with MEL team and project staff to ensure the effective implementation of MEL activities.
  • Collect data for enterprise and individual registration, semi-annual surveys, follow up calls, interviews, focus group discussions, and ad hoc data collection for all program activities using a Kobo Toolbox data collection platform. Collect data in person and remotely as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with her/his supervisor to ensure the effective implementation of the MEL activities.
  • Monitor/QC the comprehensive, well-organized filing system (both hard and e-versions) of all incoming data.
  • Verify data through phone calls and field visits.
  • Participate in program and learning activities when necessary.
  • Conduct other ad hoc tasks as requested.
  • Reports to MEL Specialist in their region.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience and over all 4 years of work experience.
  • Good English Language skills (both written and spoken).
  • Dari and Pashto fluency preferred, although basic proficiency is sufficient in one of the two.
  • Computer literate, good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to pay close attention to detail.
  • Experience collecting quantitative and qualitative data.
